Dog Licensing

Licensing your dog is an important part of responsible pet ownership, and it is required by local law. A current license helps animal control and shelters quickly identify your dog and reunite them with you if they become lost. Licensing also confirms that your dog has a valid rabies vaccination, helping protect your pet, your family, and the community from this deadly disease.

We offer convenient dog licensing services at our office during regular business hours. Please bring proof of your dog’s current, valid rabies vaccination.

At this time, we can only issue dog licenses for residents of Bombay Beach, Heber, Niland, Ocotillo, Palo Verde, Salton City, Seeley, Winterhaven, and the unincorporated areas if each city. We can also provide a dog license at the time your dog receives a rabies vaccination at our office. Save time by taking care of vaccination and licensing in one visit!

Fees:
Altered dogs: $7
Unaltered dogs: $12
Both prices include an Imperial County dog license tag.
